Application
Information
Whether you are
choosing to pursue a new career, or wishing to broaden
your existing skills and knowledge in hypnosis, hypnotherapy
or brief therapy, this London course application page
will give you the information needed to take your studies
further. Our current training venue for courses in clinical
hypnosis in London is the London School of Hygiene and
Medicine in central London.
All teaching takes place a central
London location on interspersed Saturdays. We have found
this interspersed approach to training to be one of the
most effective ways to enhance the process of learning
practical approaches, giving students time and the opportunity
to develop client centred skills and theoretical knowledge.
In addition also allowing students from all over the UK
to attend the course. This is also beneficial for individuals
who have other professional commitments or are already
employed.
The DipHE in
Clinical Hypnosis is comprised of 8 modules; each worth
30 credits. Each year of study consists of 4 modules;
2 each semester. Students can choose to complete their
studies one semester at a time and register for 2 modules.
Students cannot register for less than two modules and
all modules must be completed in the required order. Students
can choose to continue with their studies and undertake
the next 2 modules in the following semester or have a
break and return at a later date. This particularly allows
students to have a break for personal circumstances if
required and still retain the accumulated credits. This
system may also be of benefit for students who wish to
study Clinical Hypnosis in a scientific, theoretical and
practical way without the need for full training in clinical
practice. Students can also use this system to explore
whether undertaking the full DipHE is right for them.
