Career Opportunities
The highly vocational
nature of this course prepares students to set up in private
practice, work within the NHS or within other pre-existing
professional environments. With a wealth of referrals
from health care professionals and a growing number of
private health care providers willing to cover the cost
of treatment there is an increasing demand for skilled
and appropriately qualified hypnotherapists. The Diploma
of Higher Education & BSc (Hons.) Degree are academic
qualification's recognised and welcomed by employers both
in the NHS and the private sector.
Springboard to a Degree
The course has been specifically
designed to enable students to progress their studies
further after sucessful completion of the Diploma of Higher
Education and where appropriate to obtain a degree in
Clinical Hypnosis (BSc Hons.) or psychology.
Upon successful
completion of the DipHE in Clinical Hypnosis students
are also eligible to enter the British Psychological Society
(BPS) accredited Psychology degree programme at St Mary’s
University College at Level 2.
